Thank God for plugin effects in Photoshop. My first attempt for the study to become a graphics designer. A burning Gibson SG. What’s more to be said?

This card announced our marriage date.

This was an attempt to check if they could be printed in 3D. The ring contains the ‘eye’ of a peacocks feather which resembles for ‘good fortune’ in some religions.

A try-out in 3D of a diamond ring. Again.

This movie unfortunately never made it to the global cinemas…

Your typical Dutch grand parents chairs I made in 3D as an exercise.

Logo variations meant for a mobile app used at Waterschap De Dommel.

This was Max’ present when he turned 5.

This is what you get when you don’t use a polishing addition in your dish washer.

A logo for a girl that likes roller coasters, who wanted to make a website about it.

No idea how this came to live, but looking back it looks rather nice!

Two friends had a luminous idea of providing workshops around a kettle, learning people and teams how to cook with fresh ingredients that came straight from the garden.

An invite for our friend Petra, who wrote a rather thick book on performance evaluation on real time… well, read it yourself.

Back in 1996, me and our bands bass player created a concept MP3-player, with the special feature to skip songs that were already played when shuffling. The player was called WimAMP after the first name of my dad. This was version 0.1 and it integrated visually as part of the Windows XP task bar.

The player was called WimAMP after the first name of my dad. He actually used the player quite a lot back then, even though it was not a finished product.

A wallpaper I made when I was an IT field engineer.

Variations on the ‘MyOnlineWinkel’-concept logo.

A concept logo made for a colleague of mine.

Our cat ‘Matje’ laying on top our shed’s roof, seemingly worried about all sorts or life aspects…

A brief letter logo used for a startup-company, called ‘Groen op Grijs’ (Green on Gray) of a friend of mine, addressing his environmental services to new customers.

When your champagne blasts a whole into your oliebol it’s time to make another Christmas card.

A sleigh being pulled by our friendly reindeer Rudolph during the Christmas season.

The second Christmas card that had Max on it, this time in LEGO form.

The first Christmas card which had Max on it.

A clear-as-it-gets statement to our family and friends who were there for us in some difficult times.

2021 and we’re still in the COVID19 era. While the Dettol factories are running 24/7, Sabine’s wiping away a year that, for many, wasn’t all that great.

Swaffel, as our guinea pig was named, used to be the center of attention during the Christmas season…

As my wife is becoming a teacher, it seemed like the right thing to do.

Not much to do here, but to blow up the original in vector format!

For a friend’s 40th birthday I made this commercial poster.

Another guinea pig who deserved a printed version: meet Jimmy, Sabine’s pet when she was living back in Tilburg.

A ‘Kill Bill’-like movie poster for a friend.

A perfect example of two images merged into one. The tree was a picture taken at the Strabrechtse Heide, while the lady was taken from the internet. The actual tree is still there. The lady is probably not.

A house party to highlight some of life’s events back then.

And again Swaffel is in the center of attention. He didn’t seem too happy about becoming airborne…

Basic forms in 3D can make an interesting picture. A temple in this case.

The card created from all sorts of footage on the internet, credits for the baby (on the card) aren’t mine. 😉

The two pigeons resemble me and my wife. Yes, they do.

Made to highlight an event for the sports club at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, back in 2014.

An attempt to create a design-chair which was inspired on Formula 1. The black foots resemble the tires, the seat is quite upfront alike a real formula 1 car and there’s an air duct in the middle for the sake of air flowing through. Nice touch: the small pads on top of each arm rest is basically the same seat, but then rotated and reduced in size.

Creating several layers in a vector drawing and putting it in Photoshop results in a -well, a fly.

An assignment for school, to combine something childish with something scary.

The goal here was to create a 2D car and expand it in 3D. Unfortunately the car didn’t make it to production. 😉

The logo of my first multimedia company, named Artrock.

Just a tribal in 3D.

That same tribal, but then different.

Still that same tribal, but even more different!
